2013: Ran in all seven races for the Lions as a sophomore finishing 44th at the MIAA Championships where he ran the 8k course in a time of 26:21.64...Was Southern's fifth finisher at the NCAA National Championships where he finished 184th overall running the 10k in a time of 33:18.8...Finished 50th overall at the Central Regional Championships in Sioux Falls, S.D., running the 10k course in 33:30.01...Placed ninth at the Jackling Jocks Invite hosted by Missouri S&T traversing the 8k course in 25:47.07...Finished 97th overall at the Chile Pepper Festival hosted by the University of Arkansas running the 8k course in 26:28.9...Took 72nd at the Southern Stampede covering the 8k course in 26:40.56...Finished 21st at the season-opening double dual with Arkansas and Missouri running the 6.6k course in a time of 21:34.6.

2012: A Cross Country Academic All-American honoree as a freshman, Jackson finished 43rd overall at the MIAA Championships finishing the 8k course in 26:58.50...Jackson finished 94th overall at the Central Regional finishing the 10k course in 32:57.60...Was the Lions fifth finisher at the NCAA Championships finishing the 10k course in 31:43.0....Finished 19th overall at the Missouri S&T Jackling Jocks Invite finishing the 8k course in 25:50.91...Finshed 34th overall at the Southern Stampede finishing the 8k course in 26:22.27 helping the Lions finish second. 

Prior to Southern: A four-year lettwinner at Herculaneum HS, Jackson was a three-time all-state selection taking 17th as a sophomore, sixth as a junior and runner-up as a senior...member of state championship teams in 2008, 2010 & 2011...runner-up finish in 2009.
