Biography

Prior To Southern
Stunja attended Lebanon High School before competing collegiately at Crowder College and Jefferson College. At Lebanon, he was a two-time Most Valuable Runner in cross country and a three-time Rising Star Award recipient. In track & field, he earned Highest Scorer honors and was named the team's Best Distance Runner twice. Stunja qualified for the state cross country championships in consecutive seasons and posted personal bests of 16:13 in the 5K and a 1:56 split in the 800 meters. He also earned Third Team All-Conference honors in cross country twice.

Personal
Peter, the son of Susan and John Stunja, is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology at Southern.
