Why is MSSU moving to mobile-primarily tickets?
Safety – Mobile ticketing will better allow our patrons to enter MSSU Athletic venues with contactless scanning capabilities through iPhone and Android devices.
Ease of use – Mobile tickets will allow patrons to download or transfer at any time. Both season and individual game tickets are available for sell online through our website for select sports.

What tickets will be distributed via mobile devices?
MSSU athletic sporting events including football and men's and women's basketball will be digital, to provide contactless venue entry.
How will I receive my tickets?
Tickets will be emailed to you ahead of the season for you to download to your device. Also, credentials will be mail out prior to the season.
How will I save my ticket to use at a game?
We recommend that season ticket holders add the tickets to their smartphone's, printed pdf's or credentials to allow quick access on game day in the event of limited data connections or Wi-Fi service.
What if I don't have a smartphone or have issues on game day?
For any season ticket member(s) who do not have access to a smartphone, please contact the MSSU Athletic Ticket Office at
tickets@mssu.edu so other arrangements can be made. On game days, please visit the main ticket booths and present a valid form of photo ID with the name associated on the ticket account and the ticket office can reprint your tickets.
Can I transfer my mobile tickets?
Mobile tickets are easily transferable to friends and family if a season ticket holder cannot attend all games.

Do I need tickets to every athletic event?
Tickets are needed for all football, basketball, and baseball home games. Other sports only require proof of admission, usually in the form of a stamp on the hand.
I have a young child, do they need a ticket?
Everyone, regardless of age, is required to have a ticket. However, children 12 and under are free to all MSSU regular season home athletic with adult supervision.
Do you take credit or debit cards at the games?
MSSU accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express at athletic events.
How much is parking and where should I park for my event?
There is free parking available for all MSSU home athletic events. For football and basketball, select parking lots are reserved for Lionbackers only. At football, the lower parking lot on the south-side of Fred G. Hughes Stadium is a paid lot and cost $5 per vehicle.

Will concessions be sold at the game?
Yes, however, items will vary from event to event.
Can I bring my own food into the game?
Outside food or drinks are not be allowed inside our athletic facilities.
Can I bring my pet to the game?
Pets of any type, unless they are considered service animals, are not allowed inside any MSSU athletics facility.
If I bring a group of people to the game, can I get a discount?
Yes, groups of 10 or more can receive a discount by contacting the MSSU athletic ticket office at 417-625-9815.
My child is going to be a student at MSSU, does he need to purchase tickets to the athletic events?
No, all current MSSU students receive free admission just by showing their valid Student ID at the door.
