Biography

2010-11: (Cross Country) Weis ran in all of the Lions' races in 2010, helping Southern to a second-place finish at the MIAA Championships ... he also helped the Lions to a third-place finish at Central Missouri and a second-place finish at Arkansas. 

2009-10: Cross Country: Redshirt season.; Indoor: Redshirt season.; Outdoor: Redshirt season.

In High School: ran for coach Teresa Moore at Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Mo. A four year letter-winner in both cross country and track, Weis was an All-State selection this year in cross country after leading his team to the district championship and a fourth-place finish at the state meet. Weis finished eighth in the meet with a time of 16:22. An All-Conference and All-District selection in each of his four years at Lebanon, Weiss holds the school record in the 5k with a time of 15:45. He also helped the 4x800 meter relay team to a third place finish at state in 2006.

Personal: The Son of Larry and Virginia Weis, Michael is undecided on his future major at Southern.
