2015 - Indoor - Schott ran in an abbreviated indoor season where he placed 14th in the 3k at Nebraska with a time of 8:50.78 ... He placed 13th at the MIAA Championships in the 3k in a time of 8:51.41, while placing fourth in the 5k in a time of 15:01.02. 
Outdoor - Schott placed 8th in the 5k at Washington University with a time of 14:40.79 ... had a sixth-place showing in the 1,500m at Pittsburg State with a time of 4:00.36 ... turned in a time of 29:57.55 at the Mt. Sac Relays in the 10k, nearly matching his school record in the event ... Finished second in the 10k at the MIAA Outdoor Championships to earn All-MIAA honors ... Followed that up with an All-American performance in the 10k at the NCAA Championships, turning in a time of 30:18.17. 

2014 - Indoor - Placed third in the mile with a career-best time of 4:24.17 at the MSSU "Southern" Invite, while finishing fifth in the 3000m event with a time of 8:55.65... Won the 3000m event at the 2014 Jayhawk Classic after setting a career-best time of 8:34.83... Won the 5000m race at the MSSU Lion Invite with a time of 14:38.43... Set a season-high time of 14:27.41 at the Nebraska Tune Up's 5000m event... Earned All-MIAA in both the 3000m event (8:38.25) and the 5000m event (14.33.95), placing second and first respectively... Finished tenth in the 5000m event with a time of 14:34:25 at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships. Outdoor - Finished seventh at the Washington University Invite 5000m event after setting a career-best 14:23.75... Finished ninth with a career best time of 4:03.81 time in the 1500m at the State Farm Emporia State Relays... Set a career best time in the 10,000m event at 30:28.14 at the Mt. SAC Relays... Won the MIAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships 10,000m event with a time of 31:05.11 while placing fifth in the 5000m event at a time of 15:26.44... Finished thirtenth in the 10,000m event (30:28:14) at the NCAA Divison II Outdoor Championships...

2013 - Indoor -  Redshirted...Outdoor - Finished seventh in the 5,000 meters at the MIAA Championships running 15:07.77... also competed in the 10,000 meters at the MIAA Championships where he ran 31:43.0.

2012- Indoor - As a true freshman, Schott took sixth in the 3,000m (8:39.9) and fourth in the 5,000m (15:10.86) at the MIAA Championhsips ... took fourth in the 5,000m at the MSSU Invite in 15:29.47 ... took third in the mile (4:25.98) while taking fifth in the 3,000m (8:43.71) at the Lion Open....Outdoor - Took eighth in the 5,000m at the MIAA Outdoor Championships in 15:34.47 ... won the 5,000m at the PSU Wendy's Invite in 15:05.0 ...  Took fourth in the 10,000m at the Kansas Relays in 31:05.63 ... Took first in the 1500m in 4:06.03 at the Williams/Laptad Invite.

Prior to Southern - Schott attended Central High School and ran for coaches Mark Hahn and Ryan Hale. A four-year letterwinner in both cross country and track, Schott holds the school record in the 5k with a time of 16:12, and has been a three-time All-Conference, and All-District selection, while being named All-Sectional once. He has also been a state qualifier three times, while helping to lead his team to two conference championships and a sectional qualifier all four years. 

Personal - A Business major at Southern, Schott is the son of Terry and Kimberly Schott.
