Outdoor - Rush picked up a fourth place finish in the 3k and a third place finish in the 1,500 at the SBU Invite ... placed third in the 1,500m at the PSU Classic in a time of 3:58.44, placed ninth in the 1,500m at the MIAA Championships, while earning an eighth-place finish in the 5k with a time of 15:35.93. 

2014 - Indoor - Rush placed second in the mile at the Jayhawk Classic, turning in a time of 4:25.35 ... also had a second place finish in the DMR helping the team to a time of 10:16.89 at the MSSU Lion Invite ... placed third in the 3k at Oklahoma Baptist with a time of 8:36.46 ... Helped the DMR Team win the MIAA Title at the MIAA Championships with a time of 10:13.96 ... Also earned All-MIAA honors in the mile with a second-place showing, turning in a time of 4:!6.78 ... finished eighth in the 3k at the MIAA Championships. 
Outdoor - Picked up a second-place finish in the 1,500m at the PSU Wendy's Invite, turnin in a time of 4:02.80 ... placed fifth in the ESU Relays in the 1,500m in a time of 4:00.89 and turned in a time of 3:58.24 a week later in the 1,500m at Arkansas ... won the event in a time of 3:58.81 at the MSSU Invite, while placing second in the 5k at Missouri S&T ... earned All-MIAA honors in the 1,500m with a third-place finish at the MIAA Championships in a time of 3:55.46.

Prior to Southern - Rush comes to Southern from Osage County High School in Linn, Mo ... A four-time All-Conference and All-District selection, as well as a three-time All-State pick in cross country, Rush was a three-time All-Conference, All-District and All-State selection in track and field ... He holds the school record in the 5k with a time of 16:09 and helped his cross country team to a district championship each season, as well as a fourth-place finish in 2009, second place in 2010, state championship in 2011 and a second-place finish in 2012 at the state meets.

Personal - The son of William and Michelle Rush, Tyler is undecided on his future major at Southern.
