Joplin, Mo. - The Missouri Southern athletic department is now accepting nominations for the MSSU Athletics Hall of Fame. Nominations will be accepted until April 30, 2025.
 
The Missouri Southern State University Athletics Hall of Fame was established to pay tribute and give deserved recognition to athletic letter-winners, coaches, and/or friends of MSSU Athletics who have made distinctive, unique, or exceptional contributions to the success of Missouri Southern Athletics.
 
Hall of Fame Criteria. Nominees must meet the specified criteria to be considered for induction into the Hall of Fame.
 
Hall of Fame Nomination Form. Forms may be mailed to 3950 East Newman Road, Joplin, Mo. 64801, or emailed to Director of Athletics Rob Mallory (mallory-r@mssu.edu).
 
The 2024 Hall of Fame included two former student-athletes and two teams inducted for their contributions and successes in athletics. Larry Barnes (Football), Arley Smith (Men's Track and Field), the 2009 Women's Cross Country team, and the 1974-75 Women's Basketball team) were enshrined in October of 2024.
