JOPLIN, Mo. - The Missouri Southern Athletics Department is ecstatic to announce it will be hosting Trivia Night on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, at the Ron Richard Athletic Center.
 
Faculty, staff, fans, Lionbackers and members of the community, 21 years and older, are invited to join MSSU Athletics for a fun evening supporting the Athletics department by testing your trivia knowledge.
 
The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a social featuring appetizers and beverages and trivia will commence at 6:30 p.m. in the Ron Richard Athletic Center on the campus of Missouri Southern. Trivia will be in the format of eight rounds with each round containing 10 questions, concluding around 8:30 p.m.
 
Trivia categories will range from Missouri Southern history, pop culture, sports, science, movies, music and more! Teams can consist of up to eight members with an entry fee of $250 per team. Registration is currently available online here. The cost includes entrance into the competition, appetizers and three drink tickets (soft drinks, beer, or wine) per person. Drinks generously donated by Missouri Eagle. 
 
We invite all teams to get creative with their team names and dress to the theme of your choice. There will be a prize for most creative team theme and application!
 
Early Bird Sign-up is Dec. 19. Register and pay for your team by Dec. 19 to receive one extra drink ticket per participant. Trivia Night registration closes on Jan. 30.
 
Round sponsor opportunities are available for $500 which includes a team in the competition, business names and logos on all materials distributed during the round as well as announcements of being a round sponsor by the emcee.
