Emily Presley was the MIAA and the National Women's Field Athlete of the Week this week. Presley, a native of St. Clair, Mo., was also named the MIAA Women's Field Athlete of the Week this week. Presley nearly tied the Division II all-time record in the pole vault at Missouri S&T this weekend in the Dewey Allgood Invitational. Presley cleared an NCAA AQ height of 14-05.25 to increase her school record and national lead in the event.

The height is tied for the third-highest all-time in Division II and is seventh-best this year in the NCAA in all divisions. The sophomore had three good attempts at 14-09, which would have tied the NCAA Division II record, but could not clear the bar.
