Tallman came away with a 2-1 record, 1.04 ERA, 17.1 innings, nine strikeouts and opponents hit .175 against her at the Alvy Early Memorial Classic in Bentonville, Ark. The sophomore has already surpassed her winning total from last season and this year is 4-1 with a 1.17 ERA, 24.0 innings, 20 strikeouts, four walks issued and opponents hitting .217 against her. Against Southern Nazarene, Tallman pitched a complete game shutout limiting the Storm to two hits off 91 pitches in the Lions 4-0 win.
