Kimutai earned the gold belt buckle and hat winning the DBU Old Glory Gallop in a time of 23:22.2 a personal best of his on a 8k course beating his time of 23:37.3 that he ran at the Southern Stampede this season. Kimutai helped lead the Lions to also pick up the team top finish with four runners in the top-ten down in Grand Prairie, Texas.
