Withers helped the Lions open up the MIAA Softball Tournament by knocking off Missouri Western in their best-of-three series. Withers hit a bases clearing triple in the second inning of game one to cap off a seven run second inning that ensured the Lions won 7-5. In the game two 3-2 win, Withers hit the walk-off double that scored Yazmin Vargas and Josie Tofpi to advance to the second week of the tournament.
