Leisinger, a native of Ute, Iowa, won the discus at the Central Missouri Mule Relays this past weekend. She hit an NCAA Provisional Qualifying distance of 47.43m (155-07). Leisinger then went on to win the hammer throw, breaking a school record and nearly missed out on an AQ, hitting an NCAA Provisional Qualifying mark of 59.53m (195-04). The distance was nearly two feet further than the old school record.
