Deb averaged 20.0 points and 5.0 rebounds as she helped the Lions to a 2-0 record with wins over 2015 NCAA tournament qualifier Minnesota State and former MIAA rival Truman State. In 66 minutes of play Holcomb went 14-for-32 from the field for 53.1 percent including a 3-for-9 performance from three point range. She pulled down 10 rebounds, nine defensive, to go along with her five steals on the week.
