Sharese led the Lions to a 2-0 mark at the MIAA/GAC Challenge hosted by Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Okla. On the opening day Jones grabbed her first double-double of the season as she scored 23 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in the 72-63 win over Oklahoma Baptist. On Saturday she led the Lions with 24 points as they defeated the host Bulldogs 71-68. On the weekend, Jones averaged 23.5 points with 7.5 rebounds per game while shooting .500 (14-for-28) from the field. She was nearly perfect from the free throw line with a 17-for-18 (94.4 percent) performance.
