Hershey was named MIAA Co-Pitcher of the week after helping the Lions to a 4-0 week, including a sweep of Washburn and a mid-week win over Missouri S&T. 

He finished the week with four appearances where he went 2-0 in 7.0 innings, striking out six and allowing zero earned runs. The Coffeyville, Kansas native registered both wins in relief in the series with Washburn, holding the Ichabods scoreless, while the Lions were able to come-from-behind to score the wins.
