Kiptoo helped the Lions dominate at the University of Central Missouri Mule Run this past weekend as he won a race that saw Southern place four runners in the top five and all nine runners in the top 21. Kiptoo traversed the course in a time of 25:27.24, just seven-tenths of a second in front of teammate Gidieon Kimutai. He was named the MIAA Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week as the Lions swept the MIAA award this week.
