Haltom, a senior from Thornfield, Mo., helped the Lions to a 7th-place finish at the Henderson State University Battle for the Belt this past weekend and was named the MIAA Co-Athlete of the Week for his efforts. 

The Lions posted a seven-under par team score on day three that saw three players reach below-par scores, including Haltom who recorded a one-under on the final day en route to a fifth-place finish in the tournament. Haltom shot a one-under on day one and three-under on day two to finish five-under par for the tournament.
