Buerge recorded two double-doubles last week in two huge tests against Washburn and Emporia State at home. She scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in a loss to WU, before staying discipline against ESU with four fouls late in the game to ultimately assist the Lions past the Hornets after scoring 12 points and pulling down 11 boards.  The Webb City product stands in second in MIAA in scoring and fifth in the rebounds.
