Men Take Sixth At The Showdown; Limón Ties For 10th

Monkey Island, Okla. - The Missouri Southern Men's Golf team wrapped up their third and final round on Tuesday, April 2 in The Showdown at Shagri-La at Shangri-La Country Club. The Lions finished with a total team score of 870 to take sixth at the MIAA designated event.

Luis Limón led the Lions individually as he tied for 10th individually after shooting a 214 total score.

Josh Hamnett shot 217 total score over the two days which tied him for 15th individually at The Showdown.

Ben Marckmann placed tied for 21st individually, shooting a 219 total score for the Lions.

Tradgon McCrae finished one shot behind Marckmann with a 220 total score which tied him for 24th at Shangri-La.

Zach Gardner rounded out the team scoring for the Lions, placing tied for 69th with a total score of 230.

The Men will be back in action next week as they travel to Maratea, Kansas to compete in the Washburn Invitational on April 8-9 at Firekeeper Golf Club for their last tournament before the MIAA Conference Championships.
