Marcus Moeller is in his third year as an assistant coach with the women's basketball program. He is a Joplin native and graduated from College Heights Christian School where he was a three year letter winner in basketball, as well as a four year letter winner in both soccer and golf.

Moeller attended Ozark Christian College in Joplin where he was a four year letter winner on the men's basketball team, helping the Ambassadors to a 24-16 record in his senior season. Moeller earned an associates degree in Christian Education from OCC, Bachelors of General Studies from Missouri Southern in May 2010, and will earn a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from Southern in May 2011.

Moeller aspires to obtain a master’s degree in Athletic Administration with the desire to continue a collegiate coaching career.

“Marcus Moeller is a young man of character,” says head coach Maryann Mitts. “He is one of the finest young people that I have had the honor to know. He possesses the intangibles (the work ethic, communication skills and drive) to be successful in the coaching profession. Missouri Southern and the Joplin community should be proud to call Marcus ‘one of their own.’”
