Coach John Freeman has over 25 years of experience working as a strength, speed and track coach. Freeman has worked with multiple Division I programs including Oregon State, Colorado, Colorado State and Arizona State. He has worked with two NFL teams, one NBA teams and six different Olympic teams and sits on the sports science committee for USA Team Handball.

Freeman is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and also holds certifications from United States Weightlifting and USA Track and Field. He holds a degree in Psychology and Religion from Missouri State, as well as a M.S. and P.H.D from the Universal Live Church University.

He is married to the former Sylvia Goree and the couple has two children, six grandchildren and one great grandson.
