Missouri Southern Women's Cross Country Finishes Second at Arkansas Cross Country Invitational

Fayetteville, Ark. -- The Missouri Southern Women's Cross Country team finished second to the host, Arkansas Razorbacks, in the 4K Arkansas Cross Country Invitational held Friday at the Agri Park in Fayetteville, Ark.

The Lions were led by junior Marlee Tegenkamp who finished in eighth place with a time of 14:53.1.  Tegenkamp finished just ahead of teammate sophomore Rachel Schrader, who had a time of 15:09.3.

The next three highest finishers for Southern were freshmen Codi Fritchie, 14th - 15:53.5, Lauren Robson, 15th - 15:54.6, and Olivia Francka, 16th - 16:02.8.  Sophomore Nicole French and freshman Kylie Brown finished the scoring for the Lions with times of 16:40.7 and 16:50.7, respectively.

Missouri Southern will be back in action Saturday Sept. 17 as they host the Missouri Southern Stampede in Joplin.
