Southern volleyball falls 3-0 at Central Oklahoma

Edmond, Okla. -- The Missouri Southern volleyball team fell three sets to none tonight in MIAA action at Central Oklahoma. Individual set scores were 20-25, 15-25, and 21-25. 

The Lions (0-13, 0-4 MIAA) were led offensively by Katie Politte as the sophomore had seven kills and five digs. Payton Graves and Callie Whetstone had six kills each, while Nai Montano and Danielle Severns had five apiece. 

Kaycia Fry had a team-high eight digs, while Abby Finder dished out 25 assists and had six digs of her own. 

Central Oklahoma (5-10, 2-4 MIAA) had both Morgan Ray and Barbara Jackson with 12 kills each. 

The Lions will be back at home on Thursday evening as Southern plays host to Central Missouri at 7 pm in Young Gymnasium.
