Prior to Southern - She was a four-year starter in the sports of volleyball and track and field for coach Russ Cramer. On the volleyball court, Fry was the Spring River Valley Conference Player of the Year in 2012, while earning All-Conference honors every season she played. She was an All-State selection in both her junior and senior seasons, while earning an All-Region nod in each of her final three seasons. She owns the LHS school record for career kills (739), career digs (770), career blocks (210), and single-season aces (75). She also set records on the track, being part of three different school record holding relay teams (4x100m, 4x200m and 4x400m). She helped the Lady Bulldogs to a volleyball district title in three different seasons, while earning a sectional title her senior season and finishing third in the state tournament. She also helped Liberal to a fifth place finish in the state track meet her freshman and sophomore year, while a third place finish in her junior season.

Personal - The daughter of Harvey and Leticia Fry, Kaycia plans to major in business at Southern.
