2012-13: Indoor: In her first season of track and field since high school, Potts came over from the volleyball team to earn a pair of All-MIAA honors at the MIAA Championships placing third in the 800 meters in a time of 2:18.72 and being apart of the champion distance medley relay that finished in a time of 12:16.47... Won the 600 yard run at the UCM Invite where ran 1:28.52... Won the 800 meters at the KU Relays where she ran 2:18.75... Finished fourth in the 800 meters at the Missouri Invitational running 2:20.34...Won the 800 meters at the MSSU Open Invitational winning by nearly nine seconds in a time of 2:20.85... OutdoorCompeted in the 800 meters at the MIAA Championships where she finished 10th in a time of 2:20.93... Finished third in the 800 meters at the Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invite running 2:19.71... Finished fourth in the 800 meters at the Dewey Allgood Invite running a time of 2:19.56... Ran the 400 meters at the PSU Gorilla Classic finishing 8th in a time of 1:01.84.

Prior to joining the track team: Potts is in her first year as a member of the track and field team at Missouri Southern after spending the past two seasons as a setter on the Lions' volleyball team.
