Prior to Southern: Attended Cuba High School and ran for coaches Beth Auchly and Mark Ness. A four-time letterwinner in track, White also lettered twice in cross country. She was the 2009 and 2010 Missouri State Champion in the triple jump, while being a 12-time conference champion. She's been a four-time district champion and a nine-time state qualifier in track. She also qualified for the state meet in cross country in each of her freshman and sophomore campaigns. White holds the school record for the triple jump, as well as the 200m, 800m and the 4x200m relay. She helped her track team to two conference championships and one district championship, while helping the cross country team to a seventh-place finish in 2007. Also a four-year letterwinner on the basketball team, she led the team in assists in both her sophomore and junior seasons, while helping to lead the team to three-straight conference championships.

Personal: The daughter of Keven and Denise White, Amber is undecided on a future major at Southern.
