Maryville, Mo. -- Freshman Kelsey Haist scored Missouri Southern's (0-7-1, 0-1-0 MIAA) lone goal, her first in her collegiate career, as the Lions fell to Northwest Missouri State (4-2-2, 1-0-0 MIAA) 4-1 Thursday night in Maryville, Mo.

The Lions fell behind in the first half 1-0 and Haist scored the tying goal in the 59th minute on an unassisted goal.

Northwest Missouri would then answer back scoring in the 68th minute to retake the lead at 2-1 and would add a third goal just two minutes and 11 seconds later to push the advantage to 3-1 before scoring their final goal on a penalty kick in the 73rd minute.
