2013-14: Hanna appeared in 24 games at forward as a sophomore averaging 1.5 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game....Shot 57.9% (11-19) from the field and 54.2% (13-24) from the free-throw line on the season while averaging 8.0 minutes per contest...Ranked fourth on the team with 25 offensive rebounds and grabbed a total of 45...Scored a season-high six points in a win at home over Missouri Western...Grabbed a season-best six boards in a win over Evangel in the Pizza Hut/Fairfield Inn Thanksgiving Classic...Went a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line in the win over Western.

2012-13: Appearing in 20 games for the Lions at forward as a freshman, Hanna played sparingly averaging 1.1 points, 1.0 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game while logging 5.5 minutes per contest...Went 9-for-13 (.692) from the field on the year...Notched a season-high nine points and eight rebounds along with a pair of assists in the Lions win at home over Manhattan Christian.

In High School: played for coach Craig Gregory at Pattonville High School. A four- year starter on the basketball court for the Pirates, Hanna also was a four-year varsity starter on the softball team. She was an All-Conference selection in both 2009-10 and 2010-11, as well as being named to the Rockwood Summit Holiday All-Tournament team last year. She helped her team to District Titles in 2008-09 and 2009-10, as well as the Rockwood Summit Holiday Tournament Championship last year. On the softball field, Hanna was a first-team All-Conference pick in each of the last two seasons, and helped to lead the Pirates to a district championship in 2010. 

Personal: The daughter of Chad and Stacia Hanna, Kristen plans to major in communications at Southern. Her father played football at Jackson State and her brother Colin played linebacker at Central Missouri.
