At North Arkansas: tenBerge played in just seven games due to a knee injury, but averaged 16.4 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per game. She averaged 48 percent from the field and 97 percent from the free-throw line. A graduate of Huntsville HS, tenBerge was ranked as the top shooting guard out of the State of Arkansas in 2009. She averaged 15.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 1.9 assists per game, while shooting 46 percent from the field and 72 percent from the free-throw line.
At Arkansas Tech: As a freshman at Arkansas Tech, tenBerge played in 34 games, averaging 10.9 minutes per contest. She scored 2.1 points per game, while pulling down 1.9 rebounds and shooting 82 percent from the free throw line.
In High School: A three year starter at Huntsville High School, she was a three-time All-State, All-Conference and All-District pick ... She finished her career with 593 rebounds, 1,418 points, 95 three pointers, 335 free throws (77%), while leading her team to an 88-12 record over those three years ... She was a McDonald's All-American nominee, as well as the Co-Player of the Year in Northwest Arkansas.
Personal: The daughter of John and Connie tenBerge, Johnna will major in Health Promotions at Southern, aspiring to attain a degree in physical therapy.
