In 2013: Appearing in 36 games for the Lions, Smith made 20 starts in left field as a redshirt freshman collecting five hits scoring 10 runs while stealing three bases on the year.

In 2012: Redshirted her first year at Southern.

In High School: was a four year starter for coach Scott Walker and the Wolves of Reeds Spring HS...also a one year starter for the Lady Wolves basketball squad.

Personal: A Criminal Justice major at Southern...born July 14, 1993 in New Braunfels, Texas...daughter of James and Heide Smith...has one sister, Ashley.
