2009- Was injured just nine games into the season and was granted a medical red shirt by the NCAA. Through nine games in 2009, Turner was hitting .385 with three homers and seven runs driven in. Her slugging percentage at the time of her injury was .962

2008: A returning second-team All-MIAA selection ... Turner was a first team selection in both her freshman and sophomore seasons at Southern ... led the Lions in almost every offensive category including average (.393), runs (28), hits (46), homers (6), RBIs (23), total bases (71), slugging (.607), on base percentage (.442) and is second in walks (10) and third in doubles (5) ... ranked sixth in the MIAA in hitting and fifth in home runs ... put herself into the record books as well, with her six home runs in 2008, Turner is now the all-time leader in that category with 16 in her three year career at Southern.

2007:
A returning first team All-MIAA selection, as well as a second team All-Region selection ... Turner led the Lions in numerous offensive categories, including average (.378), hits (37), home runs (6), total bases (64), on base percentage (.496), slugging (.653) and walks (23) ... finished sixth in the MIAA in hitting, while leading the league in walks ... Also ranked fourth in on base percentage and sixth in slugging.

2006: Was one of six Lions to start all 40 games in 2006 ... led the Lions in numerous offensive categories, including batting (.364), runs (18), hits (43), triples (3), home runs (4), slugging (.576), walks (22) and on-base percentage (.464) ... was a first-team All-MIAA selection, the lone freshman ... finished second on the team with seven doubles and 16 RBI and paced the team with 12 multi-hit games ... her 11-game hitting streak, March 7-25, was also a team season-best ... finished 10th in the MIAA in batting and third in walks ... also a second team All-Region selection.

In high school:
A four-year starter and a two-time all-state honoree at Springdale High School under coach Karen Wilson ... won the team s batting award twice ... helped her softball squad to a state playoff appearance all four years ... also played basketball and participated as a thrower in track & field ... was team MVP and named to the all-academic team in basketball ... was named the team s outstanding thrower in track and set a regional record in the shot put.
