Dustin Green picks up All-American honors in the discus

Pueblo, Colo. -- Missouri Southern senior thrower Dustin Green picked up All-American honors in the discus today in day two of the 2013 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Colorado State - Pueblo.

Green launched the discus 180-11 in his second-to-last attempt to finish fifth. The toss is just over a foot behind his school record that he set in last year's national championships.

In other action, Jeff Fraley nearly missed qualifying for the finals of the 200m dash. He clocked in at 21.01, just .13 from qualifying for the finals in the event.

Green will be back in action tomorrow as he and Seth Hackney will compete in the shot put. Michael Juergens will compete in the pole vault, while both Darion Boure and Jayce Thomas will take part in the triple jump.
