Lions pick up two All-American honors in day two of 2012 NCAA Division II Championships

Pueblo, Colo. -- Both Dustin Green and Clark Tanksley took home All-American honors today in day two of the 2012 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The Lions are in 13th place as a team after two days of action. 

Green placed fourth in the discus with a distance of 182-02, a new personal best for the junior. Freshman Nicklas Polizzi placed tenth in the event with a distance of 167-11. 

Tanksley was seventh in the high jump with a height of 6-10.75. 

In other action, Jeff Fraley qualified for the finals of the 200m dash, finishing seventh in the prelims with a time of 21.15. 

Fraley will be in action in the finals of the 200m, while Darion Boure will take part in the triple jump and Michael Juergens will be in action in the pole vault in the final day of the Championships tomorrow.
