Jeff Fraley named MIAA Track Athlete of the Week

Kansas City, Mo. -- Missouri Southern freshman Jeff Fraley has been named the MIAA Men's Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office today. 

Fraley, a 5-9 freshman from Waynesville, Mo., won the 100-meter dash at the Emporia State - State Farm Relays this past weekend with a provisional time of 10.39. The time was just five one-hundredths off of an automatic qualifying time and just four one-hundredths off of a school record. The time currently stats as the second-fastest time in Division II, just one hundredth behind No. 1 and the fastest time in the MIAA.  

The Lions will be back in action this weekend splitting time at both Emporia State and Pittsburg State.
