Men's track results from first day at Nebraska/Holiday Inn Invite

Lincoln, Neb -- The Missouri Southern men's track and field team continued its indoor track season tonight with day one of the University of Nebraska/Holiday Inn Invite today at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. 

Clark Tanksley finished second in the unseeded long jump with a distance of 21 feet eight and three quarter inches, while Taylor McClelland was ninth in the seeded long jump at 21 feet, 11 inches. 

Nick Grosso was 14th in the weight throw with a heave of 46 feet two and a half inches, while Sam Pogue placed 21st in the mile with a time of 4:42.39. Jake Benton was 12th in the 3k with a time of 8:58.02, while Nick Niggemann and Alex Mason placed 17th and 20th, respectively in the event. 

Both Jazz Allen and Ricardo Greer qualified for the finals of the 60m hurdles, as well. 

Day two of the event will begin tomorrow at noon.
