2011- An All-MIAA honorable mention selection as a junior, Rodgers led the Lions' in tackles with 87 stops (53 solo). Appearing in all 10 games, he had 6 tackles for loss (15 yards), 3 interceptions, 2 pass break ups, and 1 sack. Had a season-high 16 tackles twice, including going for a team-high 14 solo in a 31-24 loss to Emporia State.
Prior to Southern - Rogers was a two-year starter at the College of DuPage in Illinois where he was an All-Conference selection as a defensive lineman ... Rogers prepped at Proviso West High School in Oak Park, Ill. where he was a three-year starter on the line ... A two-time All-Conference selection, Rogers was his conference's Defensive Player of the Year.
