Prior to Southern - played at West Monroe High School. A fourt-time letterman, Casola was a four-time All-District linebacker, a four-time All-Northeast pick, a three time All-State pick, while leading his team to two state championships. He was twice named his team's Defensive MVP, while being the defensive captain, as well. This past season, Casola had 93 tackles with four sacks and 28 tackles for a loss. He forced four fumbles and recovered three.
