Prior to Southern - Lux comes to Southern from Wyandotte High School where he was a four-year starter for the Bears. Also a standout in both basketball and track and field, Lux was an All-Conference pitcher each of the four years he played, while being named All-State this past year and the Conference MVP, as well.
