At Crowder: Pitched in five games striking out 13 with an ERA of 2.25

In High School: Bubba was a four-year starter as a pitcher/utility player for Conway HS. Three time all-conference, all-district and a two-time all-state pick. Led the Bears to a 3rd place finish in the state in 2008. Once struck out 20 batters in one game, a school record.

Personal: Bubba is the son of Lynn and Dana McGaughy. He was born in Waco, Tex. on January 27, 1989.
